  1. This project is a control panel to configure MacOS 8.5's application switcher.
  2.  
  3. This example shows:
  4. * Complex GUI, including tab panel and bevelbutton
  5. * AppleEvents and AppleScripts
  6. * Threads
  7. * How to make a control panel
  8.  
  9. To build:
  10. 1. Open the project in REALbasic.
  11. 2. Drop everything in the folder "scripts" into the project-folder "Scripts"
  12. 3. Drop everything in the folder "icons" into the project-folder "Icons"
  13. 4. Build the application (no plugins needed).
  14. 5. Open the resulting application in ResEdit.
  15. 6. Open the file "Resources to be added" and copy the resources into the application.
  16. 7. Save the file, and get info on it (still in ResEdit).
  17. 8. Set the file type to "APPC".
  18. 9. Close all windows, save everything and you're done.

  20. IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not add the resources to the project, but ONLY to the built application.
  21. IMPORTANT NOTE: You cannot run it from the IDE usually. Building it is recommended.
